Led by KWETB, The Green Manager Programme is the first national state funded training programme to ‘green’ the Hospitality & Tourism industry and reduce Ireland’s carbon footprint.
The 50 Shades Greener programme is the A-Z, step by step framework to successfully implement an environmental management system.
The programme provides your business with the knowledge and skills required to control and reduce your utility usage.

Delivery Options
Online self-guided
- The programme will be delivered fully online over 6 months with self-guided video lessons.
- Support will be available to all participants for 6 months from the start date of the programme.
- Downloadable worksheets, charts and examples to make your journey as easy as possible.
- On successful completion, the Green Manager will receive a Level 6 Certificate on Environmental Sustainability Management in Hospitality
In person training
- The programme can also be delivered by an FSG trainer at the business
- A total of 4 training days will be included
- Training days can be divided into 8 x 1/2 days
- There is a maximum timeline of 6 months to complete the training and its implementation
